Monticello Women’s Club Cornbread Festival

The 18th Annual Cornbread Festival will be held at historic Mill Springs Mill on Memorial Day weekend. The Cornbread Festival is sponsored by the Monticello Woman’s Club and will feature traditional fare like pinto beans and cornbread. Arts and Crafts vendors will also be on hand for the event. The meal gets started at 11:00 a.m. and finishes at 1:30 but the fun lasts all day. After eating and browsing the Gift Shop and vendors on site, take a trip back in time and watch the Mill in operation like it was many years ago. Tours of the Mill will be available and you can even purchase cornmeal that was ground in the Mill. Make plans now to spend the entire day in beautiful Mill Springs Park on Lake Cumberland.
