The Chamber of Commerce put on another great event at Memorial Park Friday and Saturday. In its third year, SpringFest brought out large crowds despite some rain over the weekend. Lake Cumberland’s Got Talent started the event Friday and bands played until late Friday night and all day Saturday.
The crowd got larger and larger as the day went on and the rain stopped Saturday. Wonderful smells filled the air from the many food vendors and other vendors offered all kinds of items to purchase. The headline act Starship concluded the event to a very large crowd on Saturday night. SpringFest was the place to be in the Lake Cumberland area last weekend. It was a great start to all the events coming this summer in Wayne County!
The summer schedule is just getting started in Wayne County and on Lake Cumberland.
